As a member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Clara’s career has taken her to America, Korea and Egypt in the past few months alone. As a chamber musician she has performed in the Wigmore Hall and the Queen Elizabeth Hall, and at festivals such as Cheltenham, King’s Lynn and the Aix-en-Provence Quartet Academy. She has also attended the Open Chamber Music Seminar at IMS Prussia Cove. As a member of the Tavec Quartet, she won the Rio Tinto Ensemble Prize in the Royal Overseas League Music Competition, and was part of the Countess of Munster Recital Scheme.
Clara is keen to explore contemporary music, and has played with the Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, The Warehouse Ensemble, Endymion and The Contemporary Consort.
She teaches violin to the choristers of Westminster Abbey, and has been involved in a community project, The Pembroke Academy, bringing music to a housing estate in southeast London.
