Welcome to Our Website!

The London Festival of Chamber Music, founded in 1995 by Luciano Iorio, takes great music and some of London's finest musicians to where people live.

News - 2006 Programme available

The 2006 festival programme is now available. The music is drawn from the most well-known repertoire, but the programmes also give the opportunity of hearing some very attractive rarities. The concerts create a "warm, friendly atmosphere, more like a gathering of friends to make music than a formal recital" (letter from a member of the audience).  Our ticket prices are intentionally low so as to be affordable for as many people as possible. By the end of this Festival we shall have given nearly 200 concerts.

News - Special Mozart Birthday Charity Concert

To ensure that we bring music to the widest possible audience we keep our ticket prices as low as possible. To help us do that this year we are organising a special charity concert, in conjunction with the Liberal Jewish Synagogue. The concert will celebrate the 250th anniversary of Mozart's birth by combining readings from his letters with playing of his string quartets. Details to follow soon.

Education Programme

With our Educational Programme we take chamber music to schools, giving to children the gift of classical music and building tomorrow's audience.  This year we are planning to give concerts/workshops in 8 primary schools across London.
